IE Count Keywords helps you do this by searching the text of any web page loaded in Internet Explorer for any keyword or phrase you specify and returning the total number of occurences. Installing IE Count Keywords adds a new "Count Keywords" item to Microsoft Internet Explorer's context menus. Right-clicking anywhere on any page produces the context menu containing the new menu item. Clicking that menu item displays a dialog allowing you to enter any keyword or phrase and then displays the total number of occurences of that keyword or phrase in a small window. Click the above link to open a sample page containing some text. On that page is a graphic example of what I.E.'s context menu will look like with the new "Count Keywords" item added. Click the sample menu item to see exactly what IE Count Keywords will do for you when you have it installed. If the IE Count Keywords window is open and happens to get buried under other windows, the same window is reused, brought back to the top, and it's contents updated should you click the "Count Keywords" menu item again. The program is completely safe to use and does not alter I.E.'s program file or hinder it's performance in any way. Though the IE Count Keywords window is a little web browser window, all of its content is processed and loaded locally from YOUR computer so results are generated and displayed quickly. Note: Requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later. IE Count Keywords only searches visible text for the keyword or phrase. It does not search the complete source code of the page. Text within html tags or comment tags is not indexed by search engines (except for maybe "meta" tags). Best of all, the program is absolutely free! Visit our download page and get your copy today. |
